The carbon-reinforced sole means you'll enjoy rapid acceleration off the line and smooth power-transfer as you swoop into berms and kick hard up steep inclines. The upper of the shoes benefit from Northwave's seamless design. This removes pressure points and ensures superb comfort. You'll also find durable reinforced zones at the toe and heel, protecting you from bumps and bruises.  The upper is secured via ever-reliable and lightweight hook and loop straps - easy to adjust on and off the bike and reliable in all weathers - they let you get the fit just right. Ventilation is also optimised. Perorations on the upper keep air circulating around the foot, keeping your feet nicely cool as temperatures rise.   Speedlight 3D Sole The triple-density Speedlight 3D Sole features a nylon chassis injected with carbon fibre in all the right places for added stiffness to keep you upright at all times. Rated at 10 out of 15 it ensures rapid progress but with flex to soak up rough terrain. On the outside, the sole features a rubber tread to provide a secure grip as you move over uneven and slippery surfaces.
